Iowa Public Television is proud to be the home for Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union Championships. The 2015 IGHSAU Iowa Farm Bureau Girls State Soccer Championships at the James W. Cownie Soccer Park in Des Moines will be broadcast LIVE on statewide Iowa Public Television. Teams from across the state will compete for their respective class titles. The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), The Institute of Fundraising (IoF) and the European Fundraising Association partnered to develop a new advanced curriculum to be taught in Europe and North America. Rob Hilbert, Vice President at the Friends of Iowa Public Television Foundation, was invited to join the inaugural class, which included a number of leaders from AFP, IoF and PBS. The Association of Public Television Stations (APTS), a nonprofit membership organization representing public television stations across the country, has announced the election of new leaders and members of its Board of Trustees. Iowa Public Television today announced the network will embark on another ambitious tour of Iowa libraries during the ninth annual summer Reading Road Trip. Dan Wardell, popular host of the IPTV KIDS Clubhouse, will welcome kids and families in communities across Iowa throughout the summer. Iowa Public Television will partner with 71 libraries to promote summer reading in June and July.
